No chemicals are used. A soft white smoke is released (and not black like imported chemical incense). The burning time is about 45 to 60 minutes. The aroma is not a strong incense smell that gives you a headache from the chemicals burning. Nothing to do with the smell of incense that we know that smells strong. On the contrary, often your guests will believe that it is an aroma of essential oils or a diffuser that is working.
